Leadership Workshop Proposal Template

A workshop proposal has to show a client what their managers will do in the room, not just the topic. This template covers the pre-work that tailors the day, a sample agenda, materials, and the follow-up that makes it stick, with half-day, full-day, and full-day-plus options.

Thank you for asking [Company Name] to design a workshop for your leadership team. This proposal covers the goals, how we'll tailor the session, a sample agenda, and three options to choose from.

The Brief

[Describe the group and the focus, for example: 14 first-time managers in the operations team, who need to give clearer feedback, delegate more, and run better one-on-ones.]

By the end of the workshop, each participant will have:

  • Practiced the skills on real situations from their own work
  • A short personal plan for the next 30 days
  • A shared language the team can use with each other

How It Works

Before. A 10-minute survey for participants and two design calls with you, so the examples and practice come from your team's real work.

On the day. Short teaching segments, practice in pairs and small groups, and time to plan. Everyone leaves with a workbook to keep.

After. A summary of the team's commitments and themes for you. With the full-day-plus option, two virtual follow-up sessions to review what people tried and what got in the way.

Sample Agenda (Full Day)

  • 9:00 Welcome, goals, and what the survey showed
  • 9:30 Giving feedback that gets heard, with practice
  • 11:00 Delegating with clear outcomes and check-ins
  • 12:30 Lunch
  • 1:15 Running one-on-ones that people look forward to
  • 2:45 Practice rounds on real situations
  • 4:00 Personal 30-day plans and team commitments
  • 4:45 Close
