Social Media Management Proposal Template

A social media proposal should make the work concrete: which channels, how many posts a week, who answers comments, and how the client approves what goes out. This template sets out each of those, with a monthly content calendar, clear approvals, reporting, and three options to choose from.

Thank you for the conversation about [Client Name]'s social media. This proposal covers what we'll aim for, how we'll plan and create content, how you approve it, how we look after your community, and three options to choose from.

What We'll Aim For

[Summarize the goals, for example: post consistently on the channels your customers use, grow engaged followers, and send more visitors from social media to the website.]

How We Work

Strategy and calendar. Month one starts with a review of your channels and competitors, and a strategy we agree on together. Each month after, we share a content calendar two weeks ahead.

Content creation. Posts written and designed in your brand, including graphics, captions, and hashtags. Higher options add short videos made from footage you supply or stock.

Approvals. You approve the calendar and every post before it goes out. Please send changes or approval within three business days. Nothing is posted without your approval.

Community management. We reply to comments and messages during business hours, usually within one business day. Complaints, sensitive topics, and anything we can't answer are passed to your team.

Reporting

You'll receive a monthly report on reach, engagement, follower growth, and visits to your website, with a 30-minute review call to agree on next month's focus.

Options are billed monthly in advance. Advertising spend is billed separately at cost and paid directly to the platforms.
